Kylian Mbappe has agreed to join Real Madrid when his Paris Saint-Germain contract expires this summer according to French transfer market expert Santi Aouna via Footmercato.

Mbappe extended his deal with the Qatari-backed Ligue 1 outfit in 2022 when famously ditching Madrid at the altar.

Though he was paraded at the Parc des Princes with an 'Mbappe 2025' jersey following the renewal, 

an extra year was optional meaning that the Russia 2018 World Cup winner has been free to negotiate with potential suitors since January 1.

On January 4, Mbappe said that he still hadn't made a decision on his future but was "very, very motivated for this year".
