The Reds have made the long journey south to face AFC Bournemouth on Sunday late afternoon and they will be without five key players, including three that are absent through injury.

Trent Alexander-Arnold, Andy Robertson and summer arrival Dominik Szoboszlai are not available after Jurgen Klopp provided an update during his pre-match press conference.

Klopp also spoke about Mohamed Salah, meanwhile, after he was forced off during Egypt's Africa Cup of Nations draw against Ghana on Thursday night. 

The German boss has hinted that Liverpool will not be very active in the January transfer window, but that has not stopped them from being linked with a host of potential winter targets.
